A BETTER SYSTEM!
HULKS BROTHER / COMBATANT IN ARMS WANTS TO TALK! SO HES HIJACKING A POST!
For everyone who doesn't know who I am, please go look over here.
When people think of a better system what do we think it means?... easier to use? hands free? simplistic design? It could be a large number of things....in the end, however we need to make sure its appropriate.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN?
What I mean hulk, is that when we begin to design that system we need to spend a lot of time thinking about it! We need to breathe it! While we design this thing it should become a part of our soul! ,and as a part of our soul we need to care deeply about it.
HULK UNDERSTANDS NOW! HULK FEELS THAT WAY ABOUT HULKS SITE!
yes, hulk certainly did spend a huge amount of time building that thing ( and broke most of my keyboards in the process....)

back to the topic : )
When i see things like Amazon constantly going through revolutions but not see their competition do anything... I become saddened. Its almost like they're saying " we give up, we'll just last as long as we can , then fade away". Obviously, they would never say that..... they want to exist forever ( if they can) ,and continue to be a part of your daily life.
Being a part of someones daily life means you need to be in tune with them at all times. You need to be compassionate, understanding, and most importantly you need to be flexible.
...This is something that eBay has proved it can never be.
I ordered something through eBay, and when it arrived it was already broken. Thankfully I was able to get a refund, but the item itself had no return label...I needed to pay for the shipping. The seller gave me directions, and asked me to follow them to a key to get a full refund. The result however was the seller refusing to pay me the appropriate amount because he felt I didn't deserve it .

I decided to try sending an email to eBay on getting a refund through buyers protection. Email goes through but the system never actually reported the incident...later, I was told customer support and a phone number would be the answer to all my problems.
When I called them they said I should contact the buyer and leave feedback... five minutes after telling them I did that ( thanks Chris, if that's your real name). After an additional 45 minutes of bad accents other large amounts of bullshit ( and people laughing in background) I was told they can report the seller, but ultimately there was nothing they could do...
There was nothing they could do......
The eBay system relies strictly on people playing nice through approval ratings... ( mine is 100 % btw ftw)
eBay believes that negative feedback will impact sales, however this system will not work for high level sellers! Those negative feedback will just get buried by the successes. Another very distinct problem is the percentages themselves...... In a video game if you had a 80% chance of something happening in your favor you would just do it without a second guess, and since most sellers are in the 90+ bracket due to the sheer level of sales...the system becomes a buffer for stores to do whatever the f*** they want.
Which is specifically why eBay is most likely the closest candidate for federal regulation. If this were a physical location lawyers would have been involved already. Since this is the Internet we have a nice gray area that keeps getting grayer and grayer every f******* day of the week.
Corporations love the idea of everyone getting along, but they also have the deep deep almost psychotic interest of being in control . If you want to be in control, then fine.... just make sure you f******* act like it! Enforce your system, and make sure everyone has an even footing.
By not taking care of yourself, your image, or your service...... your ultimately going to make everyone leave in drones after suing your ass for wasting so much of their time.
Its a cold, strict, hard truth that many corporations like Sony have learned this year...
When your at the top (or aiming for the top) you need to be creative, and open to all suggestions. you cannot just do what the competitions does, and expect to net higher results. The world will never work that way.
Mimicry is certainly a great place to start, but your end product / service needs to be of your own design. yes, it takes risks, and it could very well fail like a sonic game...... but you wont get anywhere by being blase'...It'll just leave you open for hack attacks and FBI investigations.....

Day 2 of Operation Hijack
We here at Sony are working diligently to restore stability to our system, and would like to take this time to assure you that we will in no way replace your credit cards, or compensate you in anyway for that matter....
This "incident" does not compromise us in anyway, and just because our stock took a dive does not mean you should give up on us. We have been with you for the last 10 years of your life...at least!
We've been with you through thick and thin! You shouldn't be thinking of us as an evil corporation, and more as your Mother! And as your Mother I told you to give us more money, and to stop your incessant hacking hobby immediately, or your grounded !

To whom it may concern
We here at Sony pride ourselves in bringing you the best and greatest forms of entertainment the world has ever seen. From our minds we have sent games like Spyro and Killzone onto the fast track they so rightly deserve!
We would like to remind everyone that Sony is your friend! We would never do anything that could undermine your trust, or financially bankrupt you for the rest of your lives... why exactly you might ask?
I'll be completely honest with you, because we want your continued support and benefit for the next 40 years. In the course of 40 years something like this can be seen as a simple "bump " in the road. 40 years is a long time, and much like senior citizens we shouldn't be worried about whats happening right now or perhaps in the future even.
Personally, I know you don't care... because you would have emailed your politicians by now.
